Poetry inspired by a classmate, was definitely not a style I normally write poems in but it began with a single word written vertically in the margin of my notes while taking covert glances at him while the prof droned on and on. I probably should have been taking notes but it’s quite difficult to concentrate when he sits anywhere within 10 feet of me.

really, to all you jackasses, poetry is hard and this is a great poem. im a poet to and i know how hard it is to put up with dumb shits, keep writing this is awsome

They are, and it’s rare that I ever attempt them but that day in class this one practically wrote it self. I’m glad it did though as I like how it flows and captures the images that I’d been thinking about at the time.
